This South East Asian inspired home with iconic Balinese roofs underwent interior, exterior and landscape renovations with true precision and intention to enhance and modernize the home while staying true to the original architectural design.

A concrete tile roof was replaced with a dark bronze finished stand-and-seam metal roof that continues into the window frames and the squared picture frame pivot entry door.

The interior of the home was stripped of decorative trim elements while the walls were refinished with white plaster and a dark shadow reveal at the base that disconnects the wall from the new concrete finished floor tile.

The woodgrain finish on the millwork throughout the home pays homage to the original timber beams that would have supported Balinese style roofs.

A once neglected and overgrown Atrium is now a key focal point of the home, housing a beautifully manicured Zen garden and tranquil running water feature.

The home’s outdoor space has been maximized with several gardens and gathering spaces, perfect for both entertaining and peaceful outdoor living.
